the artist

When I decided to create an online space dedicated to sharing my work, I knew part of that undertaking would involve the daunting task of writing about myself and my creative process.
Ironically, I despise talking about the process of my art. I’m not entirely sure why that is, but discussing why and how I do what I do has always made me uncomfortable. The reality is, I don’t know what I’m trying to convey through my art or what compels me to make it.
My approach is anything but deliberate or measured. I’m just ‘doing’. To me, it is an automatic process that just happens. Naturally, instinctively, easily. I do not hold an art degree, nor did I attend any type of formal art schooling. I’m just a self-taught artist who has turned to creative outlets as early as I can remember.
Above all else, I'm "in this art thing" for the sake of creating. It's the only outlet that’s ever made sense to me and has often been the only means to stillness and quietude in my cluttered little head.
I would be thrilled if you like my work. I'd be very happy to sell it to you. But this site was not made with the intention of advertising art to be sold — just to be shared and, hopefully, enjoyed.
